We look forward to welcoming you to the 2024 MDRT Global Conference in Dubai. If you are traveling to the Global Conference as a company or tour group, the following information is provided to ensure that your Global Conference experience is meaningful, enjoyable and stress-free.
Global Conference Registration
Those eligible to register are 2024 MDRT members, current MDRT Center for Field Leadership members, MDRT Academy members, mentees and agency managers. Spouses, children, relatives, friends or business associates are not permitted to register or attend any official functions or events. To attend the Global Conference events, sessions and activities, all members must register.
Upon arrival at the Global Conference, registered members will receive an official Global Conference badge. Your official Global Conference badge must be worn at all times. It will enable you to access all events, sessions and activities without interruption.
Sharing or swapping your official Global Conference badge with another individual is strictly prohibited. Members found sharing or swapping their official Global Conference badge will have their badge confiscated, and they will be expelled from the Global Conference. The individual and the incident will also be reported to the MDRT Bylaws and Ethics Committee for further action, possibly resulting in revocation of membership.
Official MDRT Hotels
Staying at an official MDRT hotel will put you in the center of Global Conference activities, sessions, events and people. Maximize opportunities to meet and engage with fellow attendees over breakfast or at the end of an exhilarating day. Enjoy a leisurely stroll between your hotel and the Dubai World Trade Centre, and the many dining and shopping options located nearby. We suggest you make your housing reservations at the same time you register, and no later than July 5, 2024, to ensure you receive the discounted MDRT rate.
MDRT recognizes that some members travel to the Global Conference in groups and require multiple guest rooms. All contracting for multiple guest rooms will be handled between the group and the hotel. Special MDRT rates are not guaranteed.
Transportation
The safety and security of MDRT Global Conference attendees is a top priority. Therefore, access to the Dubai World Trade Centre is limited to official MDRT Global Conference buses and vehicles with approved access. Parking a commercial vehicle at the Dubai World Trade Centre is prohibited. If you are organizing transportation for your company, please be advised that no motorcoaches or buses will be allowed to drop off or pick up passengers at the Dubai World Trade Centre without a permit. There is no charge for this permit. However, all requests for boarding space are on a first-come, first-served basis. This permit request form must be completed for your group to be assigned a time slot, boarding location and vehicle permit. Complete the
permit request form now and submit no later than June 30, 2024.
Outside Food and Beverage Prohibited
Food and beverage items brought in from outside the Dubai World Trade Centre or official MDRT hotels are strictly prohibited, per their policy. No one, including companies and tour groups, is allowed to bring outside food and beverage items into the Dubai World Trade Centre or official MDRT hotels. There are many dining options located within the Dubai World Trade Centre area and within walking distance of the convention center and hotels.
Unattended Personal Items and Luggage
For the safety of all attendees, security will confiscate and remove any personal items left unattended. Luggage will not be allowed inside MDRT session rooms or meeting space. There is no luggage storage facility inside the Dubai World Trade Centre. Attendees should store their luggage in their hotel rooms or with the hotel bell stand, if necessary, on the day of departure.
MDRT PGA Volunteers
Assistance during the Global Conference is provided by MDRT PGA volunteers who are easily identified and distinguished by their hats. Therefore, to avoid confusion, we request that groups refrain from wearing hats to any official MDRT events, sessions or activities.
